LCA - Lomo Cherating Adventures

Finally after some hiatus with many non-lomo posts, which were generally of topics of my interest and disinterests, I am proud to return to the helm of photography with a bucket load of developed photos....can't be more than that simply because film cost money and development of film well.....yeah cost money too unlike all the digital cams out there....sighhhh..... but who's complaining right?

So anyway the latest outing was to Cherating, Pahang. Google or Wikipedia and you'd find out more of the place than I can possibly tell. But in a nutshell, it is the nearest stretch of beach from KL that has white and clean sandy beach (yes apparently some places call themselves beach when actual fact they have rocks for sand....). It is home to Club Med Malaysia....mind you, its Club Mediterranean and NOT Club Medicine.......

Once upon a time.....

There was a girl.....                          
....a most stunning bride

....Driven in an awesome stunning car.... (sighhh)...

A car so magnificent it tore an empire apart.......

(anyway back to the bride)

To meet her groom.....

.....and together they unite in the house of the Almighty

Joined by friends from outer space...

.....and alot more thankfully from Earth

And while most were well-wishers....

.....some had a chance to 10 seconds of fame

Club 1K

In my newfound love for the Golf......This is no Tiger Woods, but by far it is my longest drive yet......

727.2km with another 80km to go in the tank. Thats 800km per full tank in the car of 45 litres of petrol.

Mind you.....this distance included coastal road travel with many stops in between. I believe on a straight highway, this baby is gonna deliver a record breaking (in my books) drive of 1000km per tank.....Will look forward to the challenge next year and report appropriately.

Anyway, what's a post without some lovely parting lomo Golf shots eh
