Not too long ago was it when the tagline above was etched into the daily conversation lines of most people. The power of advertising to present the obvious message so as to influence people to do as they want. Mission was well accomplished when at one time in history it monopolised the charge card market.
Come the renaissance of the advertisers.
No longer are end consumers coaxed into learning a tagline to apply into their life. Now its subliminal advertising. Showing certain conformable lifestyle in which consumers are given the free will to mix and match what suits their haute lifestyle.
American express...? Take a lesson instead from Nokia and Dunhill.
